Where are you from?
Originally Oakland California, however being part of a military family we moved all over as I grew up.
How long have you been in Orange County?
Over 30 years.
How did you come to home inspecting as a career choice?
I wanted to help people in making what is most likely their most important financial decision of their lives.
What is your previous professional experience or background?
I worked as a tradesman doing plaster for a number of years, as a handyman and general contractor as well, and also spent 15 years in the termite and pest control field. As far as property inspections goes, I transitioned to inspecting back in 1997 so about 18 years now.
What are some of your hobbies?
Our family loves to spend time together fishing whenever we can get away to the mountains.
What do you enjoy most about being an inspector with Habben's Home Inspections?
Teaching. I love to help people who are considering the large purchase of a home, to inform them on the property conditions, and to teach them about what I see or look for and how that might help them make their decision.
